Job Title: Associate Director Clinical Logistics

Join the J&J Family of Companies as an Associate Director Clinical Logistics, where you will play a critical role in developing strategies to address complex clinical issues. As a key member of our team, you will manage the strategic elements of clinical supplies, clinical study and department budgets, and oversee monitoring and end-to-end process improvements in clinical study processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage clinical trial budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Oversee the selection and management of Contract Resource Organizations (CROs), ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of clinical trial services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging best practices and benchmarking across other J&J companies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clinical operations teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Research & Development or Clinical Research in a medical device or pharmaceutical regulated industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in people management.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and influence peers, affiliates, and regulatory agencies to ensure regulatory and business needs are met.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in clinical trial management.
  • Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, and practices of clinical research procedures and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Broad understanding of medical devices/instrumentation used in ophthalmic surgery/optometry.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $135,000 to $232,000, and an annual performance bonus. Additionally, you will be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may also be eligible to participate in our consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k).
