Clinic Aide Job Description

Cortica is seeking a highly reliable and organized Clinic Aide to join its growing team. As a Clinic Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of clinical and operational excellence. You will work closely with the site team members, assisting with all aspects of operations that impact the patient journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, equipment, and common areas.
  • Maintain center cleanliness and follow proper safety and cleaning procedures.
  • Provide equipment and supplies for therapist access.
  • Assist with therapy equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Participate in the therapeutic experience of clients under the guidance of licensed clinicians.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures and center-specific safety guidelines.
  • Support clinicians by facilitating smooth client transitions between sessions.
  • Supervise clients while waiting for clinicians or parents.
  • Provide support and create a soothing environment during emergency codes.
  • Assist with Front Office Administrator responsibilities, such as greeting clients, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
  • Assist with open/close procedures for the clinic.
  • Monitor center inventory and inform Front Office Administrator or Operations Manager of needed supplies.
  • Collaborate with Front Desk Administrator to distribute mail and packages.
  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks assigned by the Operations Manager or Area Director.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completed health science-related courses, knowledge of anatomy/physiology, and interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Skilled at using software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
Compensation and Benefits:

Cortica offers a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching and rapid vesting, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements for professional development and continuing education, and referral bonuses.

The base pay range for this opening is $17.68 to $22.10, depending on skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location.
