About the Role

The Arc Wayne is seeking a highly skilled Medical Liaison to join our team. As a Medical Liaison, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Transportation: Assist with scheduling, transporting, and recording of medical appointments to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Documentation and Communication: Monitor the completion of appointment documentation in Therap and inform the Residence Supervisor of any documentation concerns to maintain accurate records.
  • Medication Management: Maintain a system for medication ordering and place refills with the pharmacy as needed to ensure continuity of care.
  • Medical Administration: Administer prescribed medical treatments or medications to individuals according to physician's orders, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED and two years' experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, or a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid New York State Driver License that meets Agency Driver standards.
