Key Responsibilities:

The primary goal of the Patient Representative role at University Hospital is to enhance patient satisfaction through effective communication and information sharing between patients, family members, and staff.

As a liaison, the Patient Representative ensures seamless communication between patients and their families, promoting optimal satisfaction with hospital services.

Proactively, the Patient Representative works to prevent complaints and grievances by collaborating with other departments and advising on effective strategies to promote patient satisfaction and address dissatisfaction.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral or social science, along with a minimum of two years of experience in customer service or healthcare, with direct patient interaction.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with strong customer service skills and the ability to de-escalate issues.

Experience in triaging and addressing patient concerns in a timely and efficient manner is also required.
