Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, outlining project objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
    • Lead cross-functional project teams, including scientists, engineers, technicians, and other experts, to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results.
  • Project Management
    • Manage project scope, requirements, and objectives, ensuring that any changes are properly documented and approved.
    • Establish and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects stay within budget constraints.
  • Resource Allocation and Risk Management
    • Highlight and allocate resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to meet project schedules and deliverables.
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays, cost overruns, or technical challenges.
  • Communication and Quality Control
    • Provide regular updates to senior management, stakeholders, and team members, keeping them informed about project progress, challenges, and risks.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards, ensuring that project outcomes meet or exceed industry and company specifications.
  • Documentation and Continuous Improvement
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, progress, and results.
    • Create project reports, status updates, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project teams, identifying opportunities to enhance project processes and technical solutions.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field. A Master's degree in Battery Technology or Project Management is a plus.
    • PMP certification required.
    • 5+ years of technical project management experience in a related field.
    • Proven experience in technical project management, with a focus on battery technology, energy storage, or related fields.
    • Strong knowledge of battery technology, manufacturing module/pack processes, and testing methods.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as, MS Project.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
    • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
    • Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to battery technology projects.
