Job Summary

The Automotive Assistant Manager will direct and manage the overall daily operations of the retail store in accordance with identified company goals to obtain optimum efficiency, economy of operations, and maximize profit by assisting the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and close store(s) to ensure a smooth and secure operation
  • Assist the Store Manager with any duties they may assign, including monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate point of sale hardware and software to manage sales and customer information
  • Prepare and inspect work orders, VIP Checklist, and Vehicle Inspection Form (Health Check) for completeness
  • Ensure the store maintains a neat, clean, and attractive appearance, and perform necessary maintenance
  • Comply with OSHA and Federal and State Environmental Regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate is preferred
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions
  • Ability to speak effectively before customers and employees
  • Good computer skills and ability to use company hardware and software
  • Valid driver's license
