Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Manager to join our team at Jiffy Lube - 0965. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth service center operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support the customer service team in delivering outstanding service to all customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Service Center Manager to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, including scheduling, service workflows, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Provide guidance, training, and coaching to service center staff, encouraging their growth and development while fostering a cohesive and productive team dynamic.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, increase revenue, and achieve performance targets, both for services and retail products.
  • Maintain high-quality service standards by implementing and monitoring quality control measures, conducting regular inspections, and adhering to industry best practices.
  • Demonstrate automotive knowledge to assist in diagnosing and resolving complex service issues, working alongside technicians as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe work environment for both staff and customers.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, tracking stock, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective replenishment.
  • Maintain accurate records of service transactions, customer interactions, and other relevant data, providing regular reports to the Service Center Manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the automotive service industry or retail management role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software applications and systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in automotive technology or business management are a plus.
