Job Summary

As an Automotive Assistant Manager for Big O Tires, you will direct and manage the overall daily operations of the retail store in accordance with identified company goals to obtain optimum efficiency, economy of operations, and maximize profit by assisting the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and close store(s) to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Assist the Store Manager with various duties, including inventory management and customer service
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shrinkage and order supplies as needed
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate point of sale hardware and software to process transactions and look up customer information
  • Prepare and inspect work orders, VIP Checklist, and Vehicle Inspection Form (Health Check) for completeness
  • Ensure the store maintains a neat, clean, and attractive appearance and perform necessary maintenance
  • Comply with OSHA and Federal and State Environmental Regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate is preferred
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Good computer skills and ability to use company hardware and software
  • Valid driver's license
