Essential Experience and Skills:
We seek a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who is self-driven, inventive, and proactive, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment encompassing multiple platforms and architectures, and diverse technologies. The individual will closely collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), executing automated test iterations, tracking and reporting test outcomes, troubleshooting, and coordinating bug resolutions. A solid understanding of agile methodologies and the associated Quality Assurance (QA) lifecycle and automation techniques is crucial. Strong analytical skills are a must for this role.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Test Lead.


Experience in the Financial Sector, with at least 5 years in Asset Servicing and 3 years in Custody Accounting, is required.


Key Responsibilities:


Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Financial Sector, with at least 5 years in Asset Servicing and 3 years in Custody Accounting and/or Back Office operations.

Design, develop, execute, and analyze automated test scripts and results.

Conduct activities that ensure application/system products and projects meet established quality standards.

As a subject matter expert, provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to the team and partners at a high technical level.

Carry out activities that are extensive in scope, cross-functional, and technically challenging. Strategically develop, implement, and manage programs within functional areas.

Accurately estimate testing efforts and coordinate with team members for work activities.

Apply, design, and build automated testing capabilities.

Engage in product design to ensure adherence to test coverage that meets end-user requirements.

Document test results and report and verify software bug fixes to meet automation criteria.

The Senior Test Automation Engineer must be capable of taking on leadership responsibilities and influencing the direction of automation efforts, including scheduling and prioritization.

Coordinate with program and development management teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure compliance with end-user product and quality requirements and shipment schedules.

Mentor team resources and demonstrate hands-on technical skills.

Experience in designing and building automated testing frameworks using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, and UFT.

Ability to comprehend and develop customized testing tool capabilities as required by the application under test.

Strong analytical skills to understand complex business logic and calculations.

Experience in designing automated test scripts and validations for ETL/ELT solutions for multiple parallel processing pipelines.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process in a distributed environment.

Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.



Preferred Experience and Skills:
Familiarity with writing automated scripts using scripting languages such as SQL and VB Script.

Minimum Education Requirement:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is advantageous.
