Public Affairs Coordinator

Job Overview

The Public Affairs Coordinator is responsible for ensuring effective and timely communications to all of IndyGo's audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of internal and external communications strategies, graphic design software abilities, creativity, project management, attention to detail, and experience building consensus among diverse audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute internal and external communications plans.
  • Serve as key liaison between internal departments and employees.
  • Assist the Public Affairs team with community engagement and outreach activities.
  • Manage map and promotional item inventory.
  • Perform basic photo editing tasks.
  • Design low-priority vinyl stickers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design or related field.
  • Two to five years in communications, graphic design or marketing preferred.
  • Publications management and/or communications experience preferred.

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
