Job Title: Operations Risk Analyst

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Operations Risk Analyst to join our team. As an Operations Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in assessing and mitigating risks across our end-to-end transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and provide expert guidance on process assessments and control evaluations to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Perform process re-engineering to improve efficiency and strengthen controls within our organization.
  • Conduct risk management framework and related risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Support the first line of defense (1st LoD) through issue management and root cause analysis.
  • Assess business-unit level key metrics to ensure operational effectiveness and establish client-level metrics.
  • Provide education and training to our staff to ensure awareness of and adherence to policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Oversee 1st LoD activities and assist specialized domain SMEs in implementing their programs.
  • Support the client management team through identification of risk and control considerations and definition of risk mitigants.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience, with an MBA/MA/MS in a relevant discipline a plus.
  • 2-5 years of specialized experience in Financial/Banking Services, preferably in Consumer Lending/Credit Cards.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role in Consumer Banking in Enterprise/Operational Risk or Business Control experience.
  • 1st and 2nd LoD and Consumer Lending experience desired, with Credit Card experience a plus.
  • Experience with executing operations risk assessment/testing methodologies and evaluating internal controls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of management and good analytical and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for Consumer Lending preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication ability, inclusive of conflict resolution and project management abilities.
  • Consumer Lending experience ideally in building new product or start-up type environments.
