About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Patient Centricity to join our Clinical Development team at Moderna Therapeutics. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in evaluating and implementing novel digital health solutions for our clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation, development, and implementation of novel digital health solutions on trials
  • Support the adoption of novel digital solutions on clinical trials through advising and educating clinical teams on implementation requirements
  • Perform centralized reporting to Clinical Trial Teams (CTT) of enrollment and retention across Moderna portfolio
  • Collaborate with Moderna Digital, Data Sciences, and Clinical Trial Equity teams on technical requirements needed to enable and build internal automated visualizations of patient and site data
  • Serve as subject matter expert on implementation of novel patient-centric solutions such as participant/site portals, eConsent, eCOA, telemedicine platforms, and communications systems
  • Work in strong collaboration with Moderna cross-functional teams for innovation, vendor evaluation, data, and insights
  • Support the development of training content for digital health applications/technologies implementation to assure best-in-class experience for sites and patients on trials
  • Collaborate with the digital implementation team and support as business owner on UAT for patient-centric digital solutions applied to trials
  • Support analytics and metrics measurement on the performance of novel digital trial solutions applied to Moderna trials
  • Help manage relationships with existing digital health solutions vendors and ensure vendors are up to date on Moderna's SOPs and trainings
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in clinical trial discipline within a pharmaceutical company, CRO, or similar organization
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics and novel technology solutions in clinical trials
  • Experience in rare disease/difficult-to-recruit populations a plus
  • Experience with decentralized and hybrid decentralized trial solution implementation
  • Forward thinking and idea-driven in clinical trials
  • Knowledge of current regulatory requirements and guidelines governing clinical research
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter who motivates, is detail-oriented, has tact, diplomacy, leadership skills, and who has flexible and positive approach
  • Time-aware and able to challenge assumptions in order to optimize timelines, cost, and quality
  • Able to make sound decisions and communicate recommendations after careful consideration of various courses of action, decision support data, and past experience in trial optimization
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn, able to take direction, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with shifting priorities and change in a small company environment
