Construction Materials Testing Specialist II

$750 SIGNING BONUS AVAILABLE

RCG Moody International Limited c/- Intertek is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Specialist II to join our esteemed team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to advance your career within the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field inspections and perform construction materials assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed daily inspection reports and testing documentation.
  • Utilize various testing equipment to evaluate materials such as soil and concrete, providing comprehensive data analysis.
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Maintain thorough records of test results and observations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project teams to relay findings and recommendations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in laboratory and/or field construction materials testing is required.
  • ACI Concrete I Certification is required.
  • Basic mathematical, calculator, and computer skills are essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
  • Capability to read and comprehend work plans is required.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and maintain a reliable driving record.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and squat for extended periods.
