Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team at Safran Federal Systems. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing support to employees across various areas of HR, including talent acquisition, employee experience, and employee lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Serve as the first point of contact for employees, answering various HR questions and providing guidance on benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Employee Experience: Process weekly payroll, verify time and attendance, and resolve discrepancies. Conduct benefits orientation for new hires and ensure a positive experience in interacting with new employees.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Work with the HRBP to administer various leaves of absences and accommodation requests. Conduct exit interviews and provide quarterly reports with trend data.
  • Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement initiatives to drive a high-performance culture.
  • HR Operations: Collaborate with the HR team to support company-wide initiatives and projects, including annual performance evaluations, goal setting, and training and organizational development activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum of four years of experience with a generalist background in various areas of HR.
  • HRIS experience (ADP preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Prior experience with OFCCP strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, time management, and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions to include maintaining confidentiality.
  • Continuous learner with a strong desire to develop knowledge, skills, and competencies in the field of HR.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated expertise in using advanced functions.
