Job Title: Interim Payroll Consultant

Our HR Consulting Division is seeking an experienced Interim Payroll Consultant to join our team. As an HR Consultant with HR Works, you will have the opportunity to work on a part-time basis, focusing on Paylocity Payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert payroll support and guidance to clients, ensuring compliance with State and Federal employment law.
  • Analyze and resolve payroll-related issues, making recommendations to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring timely completion of projects and tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4+) years of experience in payroll and human resources support, including data entry and management of HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems.
  • Intermediate-level experience with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP Certification or other related certifications desired.
