Key Responsibilities- Manage a loan operations team to process merchant loan originations and dealer reserves
- Develop and implement procedures and internal controls to ensure accurate and compliant work output
- Handle all funding, including loan disbursements, dealer reserve accounting, reconciliations, and payments
- Perform systems administration work for merchant portals, loan origination systems, and shared drives
- Develop business continuity plans for SHL operations
- Provide performance feedback to direct reports and develop annual training and development plans
- Promote a positive work culture by supporting and modeling the unit's core values
- Serve as an escalation resource to direct reports for problems requiring solutions not found in procedure
- 2+ years of experience in consumer lending processing and funding operations
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership capacity directing staff in production and execution
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
- Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record for occasional company car usage
- Proven understanding of loan processing systems and ability to utilize that understanding to create alternative ways of allocating resources
- Ability to manage, supervise, and lead others to achieve desired results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills to include word-processing, spreadsheet, and email
- Strong organizational and human relation skills
