Job Summary

FM Global is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Engineer to join our team. As a Consultant Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting site assessments, evaluating risk management strategies, and providing engineering solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform site assessments to identify potential risks and hazards
  • Conduct evaluations of site water supplies, dust hazards, chemical storage, and rack storage arrangements
  • Ensure compliance with FM Global Engineering Standards and communicate recommendations to clients
  • Work from a home office and travel to clients' facilities as needed
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Five plus years of industry experience preferred
  • Power Generation Experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good analytical, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient time management ability with minimal supervision
  • Solid technical capability including diverse knowledge of engineering principles
  • Ability to stay focused from a home office environment
  • Authorization to work in the country you are applying to work in
  • Physical ability to lift 25 pounds, able to climb ladders, balance, and deal with heights
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
  • A valid driver's license
