Electrical Engineering Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our electrical engineering department. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing complex electrical engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for electrical engineering initiatives, aligning with company objectives and growth strategies.
  • Oversee the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems and products.
  • Manage performance, provide constructive feedback, and support career development for team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong technical background in electrical engineering, including expertise in electrical design, power systems, and electronics.
  • Experience with engineering design tools, project management software, and simulation and modeling tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
