Our client, a leading $1B+ food manufacturer, is seeking a seasoned Packaging Manager to join their team. As a key member of the Research & Development department, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's packaging strategies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of packaging specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including R&D, plants, operations, and brand management, as well as external packaging suppliers and customers.
  • Drive innovation and optimization of packaging solutions, focusing on sustainable materials and processes.
  • Manage and execute studies on printing and label application processes, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of packaging configurations for storage and shipping, including specification of boxes, palletization, and dialings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in food manufacturing.
  • Minimum of 4 years of packaging engineering experience, preferably in food manufacturing, with a proven management track record.
  • Broad technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead significant packaging projects that enhance both the top and bottom lines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.
