Job Title: Packaging Supervisor 3rd Shift

At Pure's Food Specialties Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Packaging Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our packaging lines, ensuring efficient production, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities on packaging lines, including work procedures, employee rotation, and attendance.
  • Evaluate and recommend employees for hire or termination.
  • Coordinate with management to optimize production activities and ensure compliance with company policies and FDA guidelines.
  • Enforce company safety, break, and lunch policies, and actively seek to resolve any concerns.
  • Track and communicate employee performance, providing disciplinary or corrective action as needed.
  • Train and coach other operators and line employees to maintain high efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all packaging equipment is in operational condition and establish tasks for employees to maintain a clean workplace.
  • Document downtime and lost efficiency, and ensure quality guidelines for products are followed.
  • Assist with Continuous Improvement and maintain LOTO certification.
  • Review and assist with quality control documents, ensuring Food Safety of Production.
  • Communicate with cross-functional shift activities and perform miscellaneous duties as required by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Educational Background: N/A
  • Experience: Must have experience in giving direction to employees and operating and diagnosing equipment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Must be able to communicate with both direct report employees and management.
  • Must have understanding of FDA guidelines and company policies.
  • Bilingual is preferred.
