Job Overview

GoldOller Real Estate Investments is seeking a dedicated Property Accountant to collaborate closely with the VP of Accounting, alongside other accounting personnel, asset management, and the operations division on financial accounting for property management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough balance sheet account analysis and perform account reconciliations.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of all banking accounts.
  • Generate monthly financial statements and prepare accompanying schedules.
  • Review financial reports for precision and month-end closing documentation, analyzing variances.
  • Prepare journal entries and month-end closing reports.
  • Assist in the formulation of internal controls.
  • Engage in special projects and additional duties as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in conducting financial analysis and research.
  • Solid understanding of accounting, budgeting, finance, and financial record-keeping principles.
  • Adept at analyzing situations, identifying issues, and proposing solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong capabilities in composing and reviewing documents.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Familiarity with OneSite – RealPage Residential Property Management Software is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 3-5 years of experience in related fields.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Experience in property management is preferred.

Additional Information:

  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 9am – 5pm.
  • Workspace: Hybrid; a mix of remote work and in-office days.
