Job Summary:

Naylor Association Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients, initiate contact, and generate interest in Naylor's promotional products and services.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to prospects, setting up meetings for senior sales representatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their promotional needs and challenges.
  • Assist the sales team in managing the sales pipeline, preparing presentations, and customizing proposals.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics and use information to provide insights to optimize sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record for taking initiative, pursuing activities independently, and dealing with challenging situations with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of CRM software and sales tools.
  • Demonstrated time-management skills and the ability to properly prioritize work assignments in consultation with supervisor.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations to support onsite efforts at events (can vary but likely between 10% - 20% travel).
