Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Hydraulic Systems SME to join our team at Quadrant Inc. as a Systems Engineer - Hydraulic Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic systems, particularly in the B747-8 or variant aircraft system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consulting services on B747 hydraulic systems
  • Develop a comprehensive plan to determine system characteristics without relying on Boeing data
  • Define on-aircraft instrumentation requirements for lab, ground, and flight-testing data collection
  • Instrument or instruct supporting engineers for on-aircraft data collection
  • Identify and define inputs, outputs, and subsystem interconnects for physical and electrical characteristics
  • Identify communication busses and define standards/protocol interface requirements
  • Collaborate with the modeling team to create an accurate digital twin model for the B747-8 Hydraulics System
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in hydraulic systems, particularly in the B747-8 or variant aircraft system
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce analytical studies or test data
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM program
