Role Summary

This role will focus on the evaluation and testing of network system software, applications, and services developed within our organization.

The selected candidate will play a key role in establishing an automation framework for assessing end-to-end service performance, system enhancements, software regression, new feature validation, and cloud-based services.

Eventually, this position will involve the development of automated tests in collaboration with the development team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test automation frameworks and methodologies that will shape the testing process as part of the agile software development lifecycle.
  • Create and execute automation test suites for Android mobile applications.
  • Design and execute automation test suites for cloud-based web service applications.
  • Collaborate closely with the software development team to identify and rectify defects.
  • Establish and maintain a test database for automated validation testing of software updates.
  • Work in partnership with Development, QA, and Delivery teams.
  • Engage in product design reviews.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a minimum of 5 years of experience in software design and testing; at least 5 years of hands-on experience in testing web-based and mobile software applications.
Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in software development skills, including Java, Python, C#, Ruby, Junit, or TestNG.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Android technology stack.
  • Familiarity with source control, continuous integration, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with Continuous Build Systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • Proficient with automation tools like Selenium Web Driver and Appium.
  • In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, test development, and execution.
  • Knowledge of 4G network architecture is preferred.
