Program Operations Supervisor

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Program Operations Supervisor is tasked with the comprehensive management of program teams within the designated area.

By overseeing client-facing positions, the Program Operations Supervisor will direct the coordination of housing-first strategies, HIV case management initiatives (Ryan White), and HIV/STI prevention efforts, which include but are not limited to PrEP health navigation, harm reduction programs, and HIV/STI testing services.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reliable transportation for travel
Effective written communication
Proficient computer skills for documentation and client care
Participation in meetings
Facilitating presentations to small groups
Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training management personnel
Managing daily departmental operations and conducting performance assessments
Fostering team collaboration, addressing disciplinary issues, and managing employee terminations

PRIMARY AREAS OF FOCUS:
Supervise direct service personnel, including recruitment, onboarding, training, salary discussions, and professional development
Collaborate across departments to enhance service delivery
Provide training and support regarding HIV and health determinants
Oversee intake, assignment, transfer, and closure processes
Ensure thorough and accurate documentation
Verify client eligibility for assistance programs
Maintain confidentiality standards
Engage with healthcare professionals
Establish strategic community partnerships
Collaborate on evaluation and quality assurance initiatives
Assist newly diagnosed clients with care linkage
Coordinate schedules and appointment-based services
Deliver client-centered HIV test counseling services
Represent the organization in local planning advisory groups
Adapt positively to change and demonstrate a willingness to learn
Encourage a collaborative work environment
Support and train staff
Exhibit initiative and leadership
Operate a large mobile sprinter van for community health events
Manage the administrative requirements of the office site

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred four years of management experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree in Health and Human Services or a related field preferred

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience in public speaking and group facilitation preferred
Cultural sensitivity, particularly regarding HIV/AIDS, minority health, harm reduction, and diverse communities
Experience in creating marketing materials and campaigns
Familiarity with patient-centered medical home models is desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred

SALARY RANGE:
$70,400-$88,000

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Background checks and reference verifications will be conducted. Pre-employment drug testing will be required. Work hours may vary, including some evenings and weekends based on workload. Equitas Health is an equal opportunity employer.
