Position Overview:

As an Event Operations Supervisor, you will be pivotal in delivering outstanding dining experiences for guests attending various functions, such as weddings, corporate gatherings, and special celebrations. Your main role will involve leading a team of event staff to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction. You will play a key part in the success of our banquet operations by meticulously managing event details and striving for excellence in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Event Management: Supervise the execution of events from inception to completion, ensuring all elements are carefully planned and flawlessly delivered.
  2. Team Leadership: Inspire and direct a team of banquet personnel, including servers and bartenders, to provide exceptional service and create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
  3. Client Engagement: Communicate with clients and guests to understand their requirements, address any issues, and guarantee their satisfaction throughout the event.
  4. Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve challenges that may arise during events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
  5. Staff Development: Train and mentor banquet staff on service excellence, operational procedures, and customer engagement to uphold high standards.
  6. Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with the events team, kitchen staff, and other departments to ensure coordinated efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as an Event Operations Supervisor or in a similar capacity within a high-volume event setting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of event operations and planning.
Physical Requirements:
  • Medium physical demands, including lifting weights between 10-45 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
