Position Summary:

The Hythe Vail, a distinguished luxury establishment in a prime location, is in search of a meticulous and committed Kitchen Sanitation Specialist to become a vital part of our culinary team. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our kitchen operations. The Specialist will collaborate closely with the culinary staff to uphold the highest hygiene standards, supporting our goal of providing an exceptional dining experience.

Position Specifications:

  • Expected Compensation: $20.00 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time & Part Time, including weekends and holidays
  • Skill Level: Entry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitization
    • Thoroughly wash and sanitize all kitchenware, including plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, and utensils, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
    • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
    • Regularly check and replenish cleaning supplies, following safety procedures.
  • Kitchen Upkeep
    • Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and workstations.
    • Perform scheduled deep cleaning tasks on kitchen equipment.
    • Monitor waste disposal procedures, ensuring proper sorting and sanitation.
  • Inventory Management
    • Assist in organizing and storing kitchen supplies efficiently.
    • Conduct routine inventory checks and report shortages.
  • Support for Culinary Staff
    • Assist the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
    • Ensure that clean items are returned to their designated areas promptly.
    • Help set up and break down the kitchen before and after service.

    • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Report any equipment issues or safety hazards to management.
