We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Law Enforcement Officer to join our team at the College of the Holy Cross. As a member of our Public Safety Department, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce all local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations on campus
- Provide emergency response and assistance to students, faculty, and staff
- Conduct visual surveillance and patrols to prevent and detect crime
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures
- Previous experience in law enforcement, preferably in a college or university environment
- Graduation from a full-time MPTC ROC academy or Bridge Academy
- Valid SSPO warrant status and a valid Class D driver's license
- Ability to obtain certification in basic first aid and CPR, as well as a Massachusetts License to Carry Firearms - Class A Large Capacity permit
- Successful completion of various fitness for duty assessments, including a comprehensive background investigation and physical exam
