Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for assisting the cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals
  • Prepare and deliver food and trays
  • Wash dishes and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions
  • Ensure the established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Specialized training in food service desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification required by State/County law
  • Food Handler's card required
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
