Job Title: Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide

About You:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals
  • Place prepared food on plates/trays following tray tickets
  • Deliver food and trays to clients and residents
  • Wash dishes and clean and sanitize the kitchen
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Report equipment/cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
  • Utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Specialized training in food service is desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification is required by State/County law
  • Food Handler's card is required
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
