Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our team. As a key member of our food services team, you will assist in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care and nutrition.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals
  • Place prepared food on plates/trays following tray tickets
  • Deliver food and trays to residents
  • Wash dishes and clean and sanitize the kitchen
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Report equipment/cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
  • Utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Specialized training in food service desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • Food Handler's card required
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
