Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Food Service Worker/Dietary Aide to join our team. As a key member of our food services team, you will assist in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional care and nutrition.
Responsibilities- Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals, following established policies and procedures.
- Prepare and deliver food and trays, wash dishes, and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards.
- Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and facility guests.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized training in food service desirable.
- Current ServSafe certification and Food Handler's card required.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Must live in the service area.
