Position Summary

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to become part of our diverse team of professionals. This position will involve supporting various hardware and software maintenance and support activities related to the U.S. Army's Reconfigurable Virtual Collective Trainer (RVCT) prototype development program.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing essential maintenance and technical support tasks across the RVCT program. Responsibilities include:

  • Documenting maintenance tasks and collecting Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) data.
  • Providing recommendations for New Equipment Training (NET) course development.
  • Supporting RVCT Test and Evaluation events through the operation and preparation of RVCT hardware.
  • Accurately documenting maintenance actions and assisting in the creation of maintenance procedures and instructions.
  • Reconfiguring and/or assembling/disassembling RVCT devices, lifting heavy objects, and utilizing hand tools.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in operational or simulated military hardware maintenance and sustainment.
  • Experience in simulation hardware/software testing.
  • Operational knowledge of virtual collective simulation exercise control.
  • Ability to write or update maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Experience in Help Desk management and coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Knowledge:

Familiarity with any of the following areas is advantageous:

  • Experience with AVCATT or CCTT.
  • Experience with OneSAF.
  • Knowledge of program execution tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with BCS.
  • Understanding of Red Hat LINUX.
  • Experience with VMWare.
  • Applied knowledge of DoD Information Assurance patch application and scanning tools.
Education and Experience:
  • Training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military school, along with 2 years of field service or technical maintenance experience.
