About the Role

This position serves as a key liaison between customers, management, and operations at Glovis EV Logistics America. The successful candidate will provide timely, high-quality support to customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and resolving any issues that may arise.

The Customer Service & Parts Specialist will be responsible for overseeing various key processes, including vehicle holds, repair processes, aged vehicle tracking, shipping reports, carrier problem resolution, and company/show car processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare daily reports for dealership/regions, internal customer service reports, and other reports, ensuring accurate data collection, organization, and presentation.
  • Monitor and provide direction on assigned key processes, ensuring timely completion and minimal wait times for vehicle processing.
  • Utilize plans for delivery-storage and distribution to minimize wait times and consolidate movements whenever possible.
  • Perform data mining to retrieve essential data, comparing allocation data in various systems and reports, and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
  • Communicate all part issues immediately to develop contingency plans and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure timelines and quality of work performed, meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Assist in developing and training team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Operations or similar field or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience required, 3 years of similar experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of customer service and support regulations and compliance standards.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constant changing priorities with enthusiasm.
