Position Overview

Doyon Government Group (DGG) specializes in Design-Build and General Construction Services, focusing on demolition, new builds, renovations, repairs, and civil engineering projects at government facilities and military sites.

We are in search of a Lead MEP Project Advisor to enhance our talented team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with managing and coordinating all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) components of our construction initiatives. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of MEP systems and the capability to ensure their seamless integration within the broader construction framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee MEP components of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and financial plans.
  • Manage the installation of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Perform regular inspections and quality assessments of MEP installations to verify compliance with project specifications.
  • Identify and address any challenges or conflicts related to MEP systems throughout the construction process.
  • Ensure all MEP operations comply with safety regulations, fostering a secure working environment on all project sites.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP construction management.
  • Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and regulations.
Physical Requirements: The role primarily involves sedentary work, with routine walking, standing, bending, and lifting items weighing up to forty pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Regular sitting, use of hands for handling, reaching, and effective communication are essential. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $150,000+ annually. Compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location. Eligible employees can enroll in medical, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance programs, group and voluntary life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan. Paid Time Off includes 10 holidays, 5 bereavement days, and 10 jury duty paid leaves.
