Position Summary:

The Construction Project Leader will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, each valued between $5 million and $15 million. This role is crucial for the daily management, project oversight, engineering, cost control, risk assessment, and overall business administration of assigned projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in construction and project management.
  • Valid driver's license issued by the state.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and MEP drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of construction codes and OSHA safety standards.
  • Excellent analytical and collaborative skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Project, and other relevant software.
  • Experience with Procore is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project success by managing profitability, safety, scheduling, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans, including scope, procurement, environmental, and risk management strategies.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration among project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Lead project meetings to track progress and address any issues.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and manage project budgets efficiently.
  • Oversee compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports and provide detailed project updates.
  • Ensure timely submission of payment applications and manage cash flow.
  • Participate in business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Conduct regular safety assessments and promote a culture of safety on-site.

Physical Requirements:

  • This is a full-time position with typical hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and navigating job sites.
  • Regular exposure to various weather conditions and job site environments.
