There is never a dull moment on this strategic effort, a cornerstone for the nation's security The 'Sentinel' Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program will replace the aging Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM, the first of its kind in over 50 years. This program is considered a "mega-project" and one of the most complex in the history of the Department of Defense. The new ICBM weapon system acquisition effort brings with it the newest digital engineering tools and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to meet existing warfighter requirements, while having the adaptability and flexibility to affordably address changing technology and threat environments through 2075.
As part of the U.S. Air Force's Integration Support Contract (ISC), BAE Systems provides Advisory and Assistance Services in the areas of engineering, logistics, management, scientific analysis, and other subject matter expertise to augment and optimize management of the Sentinel ICBM Prime Contractor.
The Role
BAE Systems is looking for a Real Estate Project Manager to support planning, programming, and execution oversight of the Sentinel Real Estate Program. The mission of the Real Estate team is to acquire the necessary land rights to support construction and conversion of facilities needed for the deployment of the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile program for the United States Air Force.
Daily responsibilities include supporting the government Sentinel customer as a Real Estate Project Manager and subject matter expert. These include but are not limited to strategic planning, requirement development, design review support, and program status monitoring of projects across Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, Montana, and North Dakota. This is a highly visible position that will interact with local, state, and federal agencies on behalf of the Program and United State Air Force.

- Experience leading high-volume, multi-year projects
- Understanding of project management and comfortable utilizing and improving project management tools
- Experience in risk management
- Experience defining KPIs and creating associated measuring tools and visualizations

#ASFSRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
- 7 yrs technical experience (5yrs with MS)
- Experience leading large, high volume real estate programs
- Familiarity with horizontal construction projects (fiber, power, oil and gas, or other utilities)
- Experience with real property interests
- Experience working with a Program Management Office (PMO)
- Experience working in a collaborative, multi-discipline team environment, able to define strategic goals, plan operations and implement tactical customer guidance with minimal day-to-day guidance
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Act as a servant-leader and facilitator to support teams in the day-to-day operation
- Must be able to obtain Secret (or higher) security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience supporting government program
- Familiarity with Agile Mindset and continuous process improvement
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $176130
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
