Overview

As a vital member of our team, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary liaison between our clients and PLS Financial Services. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support, embodying the values and standards of our company. The CSR is also responsible for promoting and selling our diverse range of financial products and services while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exemplary customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Actively promoting our financial products and services to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensuring all transactions comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Adhering to company policies and operational procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate cash handling and balanced cash drawers.
  • Processing transactions with precision, including cash and credit handling.
  • Utilizing various software applications to retrieve information and execute transactions.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints or escalating them to management as necessary.
  • Upholding a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service roles within sectors such as hospitality, finance, retail, or food service is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine willingness to engage with customers.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to drive sales and meet performance targets.
  • High attention to detail and adeptness at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in English is required; bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are highly valued.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and maintain focus in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels.
