Position Overview:
This role is primarily remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Utah or Nevada regions.

The Systems Analyst for Health Information Management is responsible for the conceptualization, design, implementation, support, and maintenance of designated applications. This position acts as a thought leader for applications such as OnBase, Solarity, and Epic Ambulatory, specifically within the Medical Group and Ambulatory Clinics.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and document user requirements, workflows, and system capabilities to enhance existing systems.
2. Conduct regular reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports to identify areas for improvement.
3. Develop and maintain documentation for workflows, configuration activities, change management adherence, user notifications, training materials, and status reporting.
4. Create and revise system design and testing procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
5. Recommend changes to workflows and applications to improve quality, safety, and efficiency, navigating through the necessary governance structures for approvals.
6. Collaborate with vendors to ensure optimal system performance and quality.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, or Healthcare Administration.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the healthcare sector, with a focus on technical and/or health information management.

Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, or Healthcare Administration.
- Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Health Information Technologist (RHIT).

Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in computer applications, with intermediate knowledge of databases and spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical skills in health information workflow analysis and planning, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Familiarity with hospital organization, administration, and relevant laws governing health information management.
- Hands-on experience working with clinical staff in an ambulatory care environment.
- Change management expertise related to IT applications and health information documentation.
- Experience in coordinating healthcare IT projects.
