Position Summary:

The Senior Epic Analyst II plays a crucial role in the configuration, management, and support of clinical applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system for healthcare clients. This position involves handling support and maintenance requests, executing routine builds, participating in on-call rotations, and engaging in special projects as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary analyst for Epic maintenance, build, and configuration.
  • Manage client support tickets and requests, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution.
  • Lead application builds for Epic upgrades and oversee Nova Note Review and Build.
  • Implement testing protocols and support go-live activities in a command center environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, mentor junior analysts, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and peers.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment is essential.
  • Proficiency in healthcare policies, procedures, and information systems is necessary.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily in-office, with potential hybrid or remote options subject to management approval.

Travel Requirements:

Minimal travel is expected, typically less than 5%.

Physical Demands:

The role requires frequent sitting, walking, and coordination. Occasional standing and bending may be necessary, with infrequent lifting of up to 10 pounds.
