Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and provide insightful analysis.
- Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns along with quarterly payroll tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate external audits and maintain effective relationships with auditors.
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide support and guidance to the accounting team and collaborate with other departments on accounting-related issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Experience in the construction sector and familiarity with job costing is advantageous.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.
Work Model: On-site during the onboarding phase, transitioning to a hybrid model (remote 3 days/week) with a flexible schedule.
