Compensation: $2,000 Signing Bonus - $25.19 Hourly Rate
Full-time position: 40 hours per week / 5 days
Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, 8 hours per day, including one weekend shift.

Role Overview:
The Medication Administration Specialist plays a vital role within the Health & Wellness department, providing essential support to the care team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate resident records and documentation, including community forms, licensing documentation, physician orders, and incident reports.
- Ensuring that all medication documentation is up-to-date and accurate, including medication administration forms and physician orders.
- Overseeing the community absence medication program.
- Communicating any changes in resident status to the appropriate supervisory staff.

- Keeping the medication room fully stocked with all necessary medications as prescribed by physicians.

- Monitoring the use of psychotropic medications to ensure compliance with physician orders and assessing resident behaviors.

Qualifications for Success:
- Successful completion of a Medication Technician training program is preferred.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- A minimum of six months of experience in long-term care, home care, or a related field.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English, along with performing basic arithmetic.

- Basic knowledge of MS Office or willingness to learn within 90 days of employment for proper documentation management.
