Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Investigator to join our team at FSA Federal. As a key member of our Asset Forfeiture Section, you will play a critical role in supporting the United States Attorney's Office in their mission to disrupt and dismantle criminal organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify and track illicit financial transactions, and to determine the source and delivery of funds.
  • Collaborate with prosecutors to develop legal theories for forfeiture and prepare exhibits, charts, and abstracts of financial evidence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including providing expert testimony in court proceedings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Three years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a strong background in financial investigation.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
