Job Overview:
The Perioperative Services Clinical Support II (CSII) is responsible for providing fundamental perioperative care to pediatric patients while ensuring a sanitized and safe environment. The role encompasses various stages of patient care, including preoperative, postoperative, operating room, and postanesthesia care unit responsibilities. As a vital member of the perioperative team, the CSII delivers care in alignment with established standards from AORN, ASPAN, CMC, and OBN. Under the guidance of a licensed nurse or physician, the CSII performs essential nursing tasks and may also assist with anesthesia and administrative duties. Additionally, personnel in this position may be required to be on call as per departmental guidelines.
Specific Job Requirements:
An active CPR - BLS certification is mandatory to commence duties in this role.
