Role Summary

The Heavy Machinery Operator, under guidance, is responsible for operating various types of heavy mobile equipment effectively and safely, ensuring optimal loading capacity from extraction to processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate haul trucks, graders, loaders, and cranes
  • Conduct equipment inspections and perform maintenance tasks
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations
  • Maintain equipment and perform cleaning duties

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience operating heavy mobile equipment

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret equipment manuals
  • Proficient communication skills in English
  • Basic mathematical skills

Physical Demands

  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
