Position Overview
The Equipment Operator, under guidance, operates various types of heavy mobile machinery efficiently and safely, ensuring optimal loading capacity from extraction to processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate haul trucks, graders, loaders, and cranes
- Conduct equipment inspections and perform maintenance tasks
- Comply with safety standards
- Maintain equipment and perform cleaning duties
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience operating heavy mobile equipment
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to interpret equipment manuals
- Proficient communication skills in English
- Basic mathematical skills
