Job Description

Noblis is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bridgeport, WV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our law enforcement and homeland security clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud-based solutions using microservice architectures and software platforms like Kafka, Redis, and Ansible.
  • Work with various teams to develop, deploy, maintain, and migrate solutions in multiple environments.
  • Provide engineering and technical support in areas of design, development, engineering, research, evaluation, deployment, integration, and maintenance of software and systems.
  • Lead software deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct design and code reviews, participate in daily scrums, retrospective, and other agile ceremonies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science (or related field) and a minimum of 8 years of related experience OR Master's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science (or related field) with 5+ years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: Linux system administration, database management, DevOps, software development and engineering, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Hands-on experience of a broad range of technology systems and ability to work with cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure.
  • Working knowledge of Agile software development frameworks (Scrum and SAFe).
