As a software engineer focusing on full-stack development, you'll provide systems engineering support to various programs related to law enforcement, national intelligence, and government information systems.

Our not-for-profit, public interest charter gives us the freedom to pursue innovative ideas and push the technical and programmatic limits of the state of the practice. We're looking for a talented individual to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate as a technical contributor across several environments in support of both the Sponsor and MITRE.
  • Adapt to a quickly evolving technological environment and provide input on solutions to challenging technical issues.
  • Work location may include hybrid arrangements between MITRE and onsite with the Sponsor in Clarksburg, WV.

Requirements:

  • Fundamental understanding of modern software development concepts, tools, and practices.
  • Hands-on development and deployment of software and scripts in a mostly Linux based environment.
  • Familiarity with messaging and queuing services, Java based applications, web-based applications, and DevOps and containerization tools.
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages, database technologies, and version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and obtain TS Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with container orchestration technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory administration, image and video processing tools, and AWS compute environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
