We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to oversee the daily operation of our core hematology laboratory section. The successful candidate will ensure the precision and reproducibility of laboratory test results in accordance with accreditation standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the medical director, manager, and faculty to develop new procedures or programs.
- Evaluate, validate, and implement new instrumentation and procedures.
- Develop written procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and support new instrumentation and test methodologies.
- Communicate changes in policies and procedures to appropriate medical center staff and/or clients.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Certified Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, or laboratory discipline-specific or specialty certificate.
- 3-5 years of core-hemo job-related experience.
- Meets CLIA requirements for a general supervisor.
