About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team at Loyola Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical imaging protocols for the region.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Breast Imaging Specialist, you will work closely with our Radiology Leadership and Physician Leaders to ensure that our imaging protocols are up-to-date and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical imaging protocols for the region
  • Act as the chief educator and trainer for all staff, providing expert guidance and support
  • Oversee all safety protocols and research projects related to breast imaging
  • Direct quality for the modality, ensuring that all imaging procedures meet the highest standards
  • Serve as a liaison between the equipment vendor, physicians, and staff
Requirements
  • Associate Degree from an accredited two-year Mammography Program or equivalent training acquired via work experience
  • 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
  • Registered Radiographic Technologist (R.T.) (R) (ARRT) and Registered Radiographic Technologist (Mammography) ARRT (M) certifications
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) American Heart Association (AHA) certification
  • EPIC, PAC experience or equivalent
  • Excel Proficient (intermediate)
